Art for a Cause
Art
for a Cause teaches local students art skills while engaging them in global
issues.
This twice yearly activity involves middle and high school students learning an art skill (e.g., printing, silk screening) and yields products that are used to make them aware of a particular global issue (e.g., Darfur, AIDS). Students from Bard College and local artists volunteer their time and material to provide a series of sessions.
